A tribute to beauty, by Júlia Palazzo.
The very first exhibition sponsored and organised by Mayfield Palace, Macro Deity was also Júlia Palazzo's first exhibition in Australia. The paintings were available for viewing at Brunswick Street Gallery, in Fitzroy, from the 6th to the 19th of February 2015. They were displayed in a room with black walls and cold air conditioned air that set it apart from the rest of the gallery.
The message behind the show
Welcome to Macro Deity. This exhibition is the first in a life long tribute to the beauty in Nature. Each painting invites you to see small marine creatures in a different light: they are depicted as powerful entities, whose evolution-crafted beauty can spark a transcendental understanding of the universe. Witness sea slugs, coral polyps, and tiny sea horses come to life as cosmic deities - you will never see the ocean quite the same again.
